A quick Christmas treat.

Last year at this time, my sister-in-law introduced me to these delectable little treats.  And I mean little and I mean DELECTABLE!!!!

I was at the grocery store a few nights ago and noticed the peppermint kisses which are only at the stores during this time of year, and it reminded me of these.  I had to make some.  I decided these would be yummy, easy treats for neighbors, and one of my food assignments on Christmas day with the fam is "lots of treats."  These will definitely be coming!!!!

They are SO easy to make and seriously delicious, so just in case you haven't ever had them (and you must), here is how to make them:

It is best to use the square pretzels because they have a nice grid and the melted chocolate will stay on top ... I couldn't find them so I just used my smaller pretzels from Costco and they worked really well.

1.  Line a cookie sheet with wax paper and just fill that puppy up with tons of pretzels.
2.  Place a chocolate/peppermint kiss on top of each pretzel and bake for 5 minutes at 170 degrees.
3.  Put a few regular sized M&Ms on each of the kisses AFTER they come out of the oven.
4.  Put tray in fridge for about 10 minutes until the chocolate is nice, cool, and hard.

Eat as many as you would like,
as often as you would like,
until they are ALL gone!

(At least that's what I did.)

  5. apparently, it doesn't work with the regular chocolate kisses....I tried it; they never really melt. I couldn't find the peppermint kisses.
